  • Manager/ Sr. Manager – Technical (Transport Planner)

    Location: Delhi

    Qualification: Post-Graduate in Transport Planning/Transportation Engineering

    Reporting to:
    Head – Technical

    Job Description & Key Focus Areas:

    • Review and formulate various reports on Transport Planning / Transportation Engineering
    • Manage clients at all levels
    • Supervise project management consultant work carried out by sub-consultants
    • Oversee documentation prepared by sub-consultants
    • Plan project implementation as per contractual arrangements with clients

    Specific Demands of the Job:

    • The job will require regular travel for project development

    Qualifications:

    • Given the job profile, relevant qualifications, experience, and aptitude are important.
      The candidate should be a Post-Graduate in Transport Planning / Transportation Engineering.

    Post-Qualification Experience:

    • Around 8 to 12 years of experience in Transport Planning (advisory), with a focus on supervision,
      implementation, and management of schemes/projects, project delivery, and business development.

    Competencies Required:

    • Transport Planning expertise in:

    1. Non-Motorised Transport
    2. City Bus Services (CBS)
    3. Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS)
    4. Comprehensive Mobility Plans (CMP) / Comprehensive Traffic and Transport Studies
    5. Traffic Engineering in Road and Junction Design
    6. Transit-Oriented Development

    • Knowledge of Transport Demand Modelling (software such as VISSIM, VISUM, Cube)
    • Strong report writing and PowerPoint presentation skills
    • Knowledge of government policies and frameworks related to development and social welfare programmes
    • Experience handling project relationships across multi-agency environments
    • Ability to supervise outsourced work and manage the quality of outputs
    • Ability to work across domains and quickly grasp essentials to deliver projects
    • Knowledge of financial modelling in the transport sector would be an added advantage
