Reporting to: Vice President / Sr. Vice President
Key Aspects of the job :
(1) Project Management:
- Experiences on project or program management and in designing urban mobility policies at national level, transportation sector specializing in Urban transportation planning
- End to end follow-up of the project implementation at national level and responsible for the day-to-day collaboration with the local/national partner institutions and steering of activities at local/national level
- Organizing Workshops for the Clients as per the project requirement
- Client Management at all levels
- Interaction with business associates, partners, sub-consultants
- Mentor and guide a team of young professionals and efficiently delivery of the project as per timelines of the project
(2) Business Development and Proposals Management:
- Preparation of presentations and giving presentations to Clients
- Regular Interactions with Domestic and International partners/ associates/ firms/ consultants
- Preparation of Communication for prospective clients/existing clients for Proposals Management / Business Development purposes
- Liasioning with central and state government entities, local bodies, municipal corporations, international agencies, etc for business development and project deliveries
- Identifying new business opportunities in the transport sector
- Contract Management and Contract Administration
Specific Demands on the job:
- Extended work hours, if required
- Compilation of information on demand
- Travel for Project delivery and follow-up for Bids/Proposals, Project Management etc
Academic Qualifications:
- Masters in Transportation Planning / Transportation Engineering
Post Qualification Experience:
Knowledge Essential /Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of Government policies, acts and framework related to development in Urban Transport and Government schemes/programmes
- Experience of handling project relationships across various agencies
- Ability to supervise outsourced work through agencies and quality management of outputs
- Evaluate contract documents and implications
- Good communication skills including preparation of in-house reports
- Ability to network & Good in Client Interaction
- Good Presentation skills
